Kolbotn IL was one of 85 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Jente Talent Cup 2021-høst. They participated with three teams in 20-22 august Jenter 13 (FØDT 2008) 9er Elite, 20-22 august Jenter 13 (FØDT 2008) 9er Nivå 2 and 13-15 august Jenter 14 (FØDT 2007) 11er Elite respectively. The team in 13-15 august Jenter 14 (FØDT 2007) 11er Elite made it to the the 1/4 Final in Slutspill A, but lost it against KFUM-Kam. Oslo by 0-1.

In addition to this, Kolbotn IL have participated in Jente Talent Cup before. During Jente Talent Cup 2020, Kolbotn had 5 teams playing in Jenter 13 (FØDT 2007) 9er Nivå 1, Jenter 13 (FØDT 2007) 9er Nivå 2, Jenter 14 (FØDT 2006) 11er Nivå 1 and Jenter 14 (FØDT 2006) 11er Nivå 2 respectively.

Kolbotn comes from Sofiemyr which lies approximately 110 km from Stange, where Jente Talent Cup takes place. The area around Sofiemyr does also provide 22 additional clubs participating during Jente Talent Cup 2021-høst (Among others: Nittedal, Øvrevoll Hosle IL, Frigg Oslo FK - Fotball, Drøbak-Frogn IL, Røa IL, Ullern/Fossum, Lillestrøm, Ski IL Fotball, Lørenskog and Hyggen IF).
