In addition to Melhus IL, 20 other teams played in 12-14 august Jenter 13 (FØDT 2009) 9er Elite. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Melhus IL could be found in Group D together with Øvrevoll Hosle IL, Asker SKK and Konnerud IL.

Melhus IL made it to Slutspill A after reaching 1:st place in Group D. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Lyn Fotball with 1-2. Thereby Melhus IL finished second in J13 9er Elite Slutspill A during Jente Talent Cup 2022-august .
