Smørås IL was one of 87 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Jente Talent Cup 2022-august . They participated with one team in 19-21august Jenter 16/17 (FØDT 2006/2005) 11er Elite.

In addition to Smørås IL, 14 other teams played in 19-21august Jenter 16/17 (FØDT 2006/2005) 11er Elite. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof Smørås IL could be found in Group B together with Bærum/Høvik/Jardar, Øvrevoll Hosle IL 2 and Öjersjö IF.

Smørås IL continued to Slutspill A after reaching 2:nd place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Øvrevoll Hosle IL 1 with 0-1. In the Final, Asker SKK SK won over Øvrevoll Hosle IL 1 and became the winner of Slutspill A in 19-21august Jenter 16/17 (FØDT 2006/2005) 11er Elite.

Smørås IL also participated in 13-15 august Jenter 15 (FØDT 2006) 11er Elite during Jente Talent Cup 2021-høst. They won Slutspill B, after beating Bjarg, IL in the final with 2-0.

Smørås comes from Nesttun which lies approximately 330 km from Stange, where Jente Talent Cup takes place. The area around Nesttun does also provide three additional clubs participating during Jente Talent Cup 2022-august (Søreide Idrettslag, Åsane Fotball and FK Fyllingsdalen).
