Kolbotn IL was one of 52 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Jente Talent Cup 2023. They participated with four teams in 18-20 august Jenter 12 Nivå 1 (FØDT 2011) 9er , 18-20 august Jenter 12 Nivå 2 (FØDT 2012/2011) 9er , 18-20 august Jenter 13 Elite (FØDT 2010) 9er and 18-20 august Jenter 14 Elite (FØDT 2009) 11er respectively. The team in 18-20 august Jenter 13 Elite (FØDT 2010) 9er made it to the the Bronze match in Slutspill Aand won it over Råsunda IS by 8-7.

In addition to this, Kolbotn IL have participated in Jente Talent Cup before. During Jente Talent Cup 2022-august , Kolbotn had 6 teams playing in 12-14 august Jenter 11/12 (FØDT 2011) 9er , 12-14 august Jenter 12 (FØDT 2010) 9er Nivå 1 Superklass, 12-14 august Jenter 13 (FØDT 2009) 9er Elite, 12-14 august Jenter 14 (FØDT 2008) 11er Elite and 12-14 august Jenter 14 (FØDT 2008) 11er Nivå 2 respectively. Two teams played until Final in Slutspill A; 12-14 august Jenter 14 (FØDT 2008) 11er Elite won over Lommedalens IL by 8-0 and 12-14 august Jenter 14 (FØDT 2008) 11er Nivå 2 Stjernene won over Skreia IL Skreia/KolbuKK by 3-1.

Kolbotn comes from Sofiemyr which lies approximately 110 km from Stange, where Jente Talent Cup takes place. The area around Sofiemyr does also provide 23 additional clubs participating during Jente Talent Cup 2023 (Among others: Heming, IL, Rælingen, Hasle-Løren IL, Nittedal, Holmen IF, Asker SKK, Kjelsås IL, Langhus/Oppegård, Røa IL and Kløfta).
