Grue IL was one of 52 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Jente Talent Cup 2023. They participated with one team in 18-20 august Jenter 14 Elite (FØDT 2009) 11er .

In addition to Grue IL, 17 other teams played in 18-20 august Jenter 14 Elite (FØDT 2009) 11er . They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Grue IL could be found in Group B together with Boo FF, Øvrevoll Hosle IL and Kongsvinger IL Fotball Kil J14.

Grue IL continued to Slutspill B after reaching 4:th place in Group B. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Heimdal Fotballklubb with 0-8. In the Final, Heimdal Fotballklubb won over Molde FK and became the winner of Slutspill B in 18-20 august Jenter 14 Elite (FØDT 2009) 11er .

Grue comes from Kirkenær which lies approximately 53 km from Stange, where Jente Talent Cup takes place. Other than Grue IL, the club Kongsvinger IL Fotball does also originate from the area around Kirkenær.
